The Rotary Club of Comox Valley is excited to bring you an exclusive dinner event, featuring a three course Greek family style dinner, silent auction & music to dance to!

EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS!

Rotary Club of Comox Valley is excited to announce a successful wrap up to this years Everyone Eats fundraising programs. For our 2022 edition of this successful campaign, we tweaked the program, building from the success & lessons learned from the previous two years.
We began the Fall by having several of our Rotarians lend a hand at St George's United Church Soup Kitchen's Thanksgiving Dinner. We then kicked off our 2022 version of the Everyone Eats Raffle, once again offering three great packages totalling $2300 worth of gift certificates purchased from local restaurants, food providers, and the Comox Valley Farmers Market.
The Everyone Eats program wrapped up on December 2nd, with a well attended (despite the snow storm!) and entertaining EEs Mamma Mia It's Christmas Dinner & Dance. 150 attendees enjoyed a delicious Greek style menu, a fantastic silent auction of products and experiences donated by generous friends of Rotary and local businesses, and dancing to the funky sounds of Time Well Wasted. The evening was capped off with the drawing of the three EEs Raffle winners.
Part of the funds raised from the Raffle will once again go to the Food Bank and Lush Valley.
As part of a further evolution of our Everyone Eats program, funds raised from the dinner will be used to create a fund to support food security programs in Comox Valley Schools. We plan to put together an application process wherein individual schools may create food security programs that best suit their unique needs.
In this way, our club hopes to award the funds to a worthy project or projects, that are directed by the schools themselves, as they will know best how to serve their community and their students.
Rotary Club of Comox Valley is so proud to be part of our generous community. We are simply blown away every year by the support we have seen for our initiatives. Times are tough for everyone these days, yet we continue to see our community members dig deep in support of their neighbours. We look forward to launching Everyone Eats 2023 next year and to doing our part to help support food security for our fellow Comox Valley residents.
