We’ll have Paul Berry joining us from the Comox Valley Search + Rescue to explain their major fundraising initiative as well as the results of our Ribfest deliberations.

    Paul Berry, a twenty-six year veteran of Comox Valley Search and Rescue. He is one of a small handful of Senior Search Commanders in the Province of British Columba who is called upon to lead complex, large-scale operations. He is  the lead instructor for Search Command with the Justice institute of British Columbia.with a focus on growing new, professional SAR leaders.

    Paul will speak in general of the provision of ground and inland water Search and Rescue services in the Province of BC with a focus on the Comox Valley and the current challenges facing the local team financially as they face the heaviest annual facility costs of any team in BC.
