Next General Meeting – Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Please join us on Tuesday, 21 April for the second regular club meeting of the Rotary Club of Comox Valley. This Earth Day meeting will be a Club Community Cleanup event, where we will gather along the Courtenay Airpark walkway at 6:30pm and pick up garbage from the 17thStreet Bridge all the way past Oceanfront Village. At 7:30pm we will meet at Ace Brewing for some social time together.

CVRC Earth Day Cleanup Details:
We’ll be meeting at 6:30 pm in two locations along the Courtenay Riverway Heritage Walk. Together, we’ll spend some time caring for our shared spaces by collecting debris along the pathways—an opportunity to give back to our community while enjoying the outdoors and each other’s company.
One group will meet at Locals parking lot near the 17th street bridge and the other group will meet at the foot of 31st Street. Each group will walk along the path gathering debris and meet up at the parking near the children’s playground.
After our clean-up, both groups will come together at the parking lot near the children’s play area on Mansfield Drive. Once everything is safely collected and stored, we’ll head across the street to Ace Brewing to relax, share a beverage, and enjoy some social time together.
A sign-up link is below, with two starting locations listed to help us balance our groups. Please bring gloves, garbage bags, and trash pickers if you have them.
For everyone’s safety, please do not pick up used drug paraphernalia if encountered—we will ensure those items are handled appropriately.
Whether you can stay for the whole evening or just part of it, all are welcome. It’s a simple and meaningful way to support our community and spend time together.
